Dirk Hübsch
Dirk HübschPatent Attorney and partner
Patent Attorney Dirk Hübsch is a founding partner of the law firm “Hübsch, Kirschner & Partner”. He has previously run a successful law firm in the same office for about 20 years.

He has been working in the field of intellectual property law since 1991. He represents companies of all sizes. The focus of his advice is on technical matters in mechanical engineering, mechanics, automotive engineering, and process engineering. His specialty is advising marketing agencies. The marketing agencies need for providing their services to their clients nowadays often a legally checked advice and recommendation for their clients to have a piece of strategic advice. He has given seminars and training events for over 15 years and has given lectures at various associations such as; the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Chambers of Crafts.

Qualifications:

1996: Exam for European Patent Attorney

1995: Exam for German Patent Attorney

During his training to become a Patent Attorney: He worked at the German Patent and Trademark Office, the Federal Patent Court and the Patent Arbitration Chamber at the Düsseldorf Regional Court

1991: Masters degree in the field of mechanical engineering (TU Bochum)

Languages: German, English (fluent), French, Spanish (basic knowledge)

Patent Attorney Sebastian Kirschner is a founding partner of the “Hübsch, Kirschner & Partner” law firm and had worked successfully in the previous law firm for 10 years. He has been working in the field of intellectual property law since 2004. His main focus is on applied physics, mechanics, automotive engineering, software, electrical engineering and general mechanical engineering.

2009: Exam for European Patent Attorney

2008: Exam for German Patent Attorney

During his training to become a Patent Attorney: He worked at the German Patent and Trade Mark Office, Federal Patent Court and Higher Regional Court in Düsseldorf

2004: Diploma in physics (University of Cologne), previously studying physics in Heidelberg and Uppsala / Sweden, research in theoretical solid state physics in Cologne, studying general law for Patent Attorneys at Fernuni Hagen

Jessica Gredler
Jessica GredlerOffice manager
Ms. Gredler has worked as the office manager in the previous law firm of patent attorney Dirk Hübsch. She takes over office management in the newly founded law firm Hübsch, Kirschner & Partner.

Ms. Gredler is particularly responsible for the area of patents and trademarks and their renewals. She takes care of checking and docketing deadlines, resubmissions, preparatory bookkeeping, and office organization. In addition to these very responsible tasks, she is available to clients and other employees as a competent contact person for questions.

Marcel Haselbach
Marcel HaselbachHead of Patents and Designs
Mr. Haselbach heads the patent department of the law firm and is available to the clients as the first point of contact by telephone or personally. As a patent paralegal with many years of professional experience in the field of industrial property protection, he has been employed by the Patent Attorney Dirk Hübsch’s previous law firm and now in the newly founded law firm Hübsch, Kirschner & Partner. His duties include in particular the submission, monitoring, and processing of national and international patent, utility model, trademark, and design matters as well as the management of domestic and foreign correspondence.
Henner Wessel
Henner WesselMaster of Engineering, mechanical engineer and patent engineer
Mr. Wessel joined our team as a freelancer in December 2019. As a Master of Engineering and mechanical engineer and patent engineer, he primarily supports the patent attorneys in drafting patent applications. Mr. Wessel also carries out researches into the existing state of the art.

We are pleased that we were able to acquire Mr. Wessel for our team and that he will support us with his expertise from now on.

Celina Altemeier

Ms. Altemeier was already employed in the previous office as an assistant in the secretary. In the newly founded law firm Hübsch, Kirschner & Partner, she supports the entire team in daily tasks. In particular, she not only supports the attorneys through her activities but also our other employees, Ms. Gredler and Mr. Haselbach.
Elisa Altemeier

Like her sister, Ms. Altemeier was employed in the previous office as an assistant to the secretary. In the newly founded law firm Hübsch, Kirschner & Partner, she supports the entire team with daily tasks. Through her work, Ms. Altemeier not only supports the attorneys but also our other employees, Ms. Gredler and Mr. Haselbach.
Mehran Zadeh
Mehran ZadehResearch Assistant
From now on, Mr. Zadeh will support the entire team at Hübsch, Kirschner & Partner as a research assistant and with all day-to-day activities. His tasks include in particular the creation of articles in our news area on current legal topics.
